Your plan quota covers everything you spend on Speed: app development, in-app AI features, Agent Spaces, and object storage.
Unused quota rolls over
A quiet week is not wasted: 80% of whatever you did not spend carries into the next week, on top of the fresh quota that lands every Monday.
Never blocked mid-build
When the weekly quota runs out, usage is charged to your balance instead of stopping your work.
Questions
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from the dashboard. When you upgrade mid-week, the extra quota is added for the remaining days of that week.
Can I use Speed without a subscription?
Yes. The Free plan comes with a weekly quota, and you can top up a balance whenever you need more. A subscription simply buys a larger quota every week.
How do I pay?
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Balance top-ups can be paid by card through Stripe or with crypto, and work with or without a subscription.
Do I need a paid plan to publish an app?
No. Apps built on the Free plan can be deployed and shared. A paid plan mainly buys you more AI quota each week.
Who pays when my app's users use its AI features?
By default each end user pays for their own usage from their own quota and balance. If you would rather cover it for them, switch Usage Billing to App Owner Pays in the app settings.
Does file storage use my quota too?
Yes. Files your apps store are billed at $0.015 per GB per month, settled daily against the same weekly quota as AI usage.
